Rain Gutter Material Choices

Did you know you have choices when it comes to what material your rain gutters are made of? The most common material for fabricating seamless rain gutters is aluminum. We buy all of our aluminum from the highest quality suppliers in the business. It’s all made in the U.S.A. and is noticeably stronger and more durable. Aluminum is a great choice because it has a lifetime warranty and a baked on enamel paint finish that is superior to regular paint. Aluminum rain gutters and downspouts are available in over 30 different colors, so there is almost always a great match for your house.

If you live close to the beach, copper is a great option for your rain gutters. Copper provides not only a unique accent to your home’s exterior, but it will outlast any other rain gutter material. Copper will resist corrosion for a lifetime, even in salt-air conditions. There are many decorative accents that accompany copper rain gutters and downspouts such as various decorative bronze fasteners, straps, and copper leader heads. These elements, combined with the timeless look of the copper as it ages and patinas, add the perfect finishing touch.

Other rain gutter material options are galvanized steel, which looks great on contemporary homes. Some houses also have existing steel systems, which we can tie into and add on for continuity. We also offer a faux copper finished aluminum material. It has the durability and cost value of aluminum with the look of copper. It has a three step paint finish that will not fade or chip and even has two choices- an aged copper look, or new and shiny copper look.
